Overview

Dr. Allister has been a pediatric emergency medicine physician since completing her fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital in 2008.

After fellowship, Dr. Allister spent nine years an attending physician at Massachusetts General Hospital, leading education programs for pediatric and emergency medicine residents as well as students at Harvard Medical School.

She joined the faculty of Brown Emergency Medicine in 2017 after moving to Providence, RI with her family. She has been the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship since 2018. Her non clinical focus continues to be education, including education innovation, curriculum development and mentorship. She is currently the Director of Wellness.

When not working Dr. Allister enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to her home town of New York City, and going to the theater.
