Overview

Barbara Jandasek, PhD is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Departments of Psychiatry and Human Behavior (DPHB) and Pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in pediatric psychology and has been a staff psychologist at Rhode Island Hospital since 2010. She is a clinical supervisor for psychology residents and postdoctoral fellows. She serves as the Director of Education for the Community Asthma Programs and as a co-Investigator for the Childhood Asthma Research Program. Within Hasbro's Pediatric Heart Center, she provides Integrated Care clinical services and conducts program evaluation. Dr. Jandasek's research interests include health disparities, pediatric asthma and food allergies, cardiology, adolescent and young adult development and the transition of responsibility for illness management, qualitative research methods, and intervention development.
