Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine

Overview

Dr. Catherine Cummings is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and practices at Miriam and Rhode Island Hospitals. Dr. Cummings graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration and Finance, and from the Wake Forest University Medical School. She completed her residency at SUNY Stony Brook, where she was also Chief Resident. Dr Cummings has an interest in Physician Leadership, Practice Management, and State Health Care Policy. She currently President of the RI Chapter of American College of Emergency Physicians and Treasurer of Rhode Island Medical Society.  She is also Vice Chair of the Clinical Faculty Advisory Committee for Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
