Overview

Dr. Tortolani is a psychologist who works primarily with individuals and families with eating disorders. She received her M.A. from Boston College and a Ph.D. from Northeastern University. After her pre-doctoral internship at Dartmouth Medical School, she trained as a postdoctoral fellow at the Providence VA, Brown Medical School. Dr. Tortolani’s clinical and research interests include the treatment of eating disorders, body image and trauma.  She has worked with children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders within various contexts and levels of treatment, utilizing evidence- based treatment models. Dr. Tortolani participates in the training of interns, residents, and fellows in psychology and psychiatry. She also provides consultation and trainings and is published in the field of eating disorders.
