Overview

Dr. Ross is the Director of Education in the Department of Geriatric Medicine and Palliative Care at Kent Hospital.  He is the lead Geriatrician for the Inpatient Consult Service and also performs Geriatric Assessments in the outpatient setting. He is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Ross is board-certified in Family Medicine and earned his Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine. He specializes in the evaluation and management of various geriatric syndromes, with a strong clinical interest on screening for cognitive impairments and preventing polypharmacy. For these purposes he volunteers and collaborates with the Alzheimer's Association-RI Chapter. Dr. Ross earned his medical degree from the University of New England, and completed his residency at New Hampshire Dartmouth/Concord Hospital Family Medicine and subsequently completed a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Maine Dartmouth.
