Professor of Surgery

Overview

Dr. Paul B. Greenberg is a Professor of Surgery (Ophthalmology) at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and specializes in the treatment of medical retinal disease. He received a BA from the University of Chicago, an MD from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and an MPH from the School of Public Health at Brown University. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at the Tulane University School of Medicine and, following a tour of duty in the US Air Force, a fellowship in medical retina at Tufts University School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Associate Chief of Staff for Surgery at the VA Providence Healthcare System (HS). In addition, he is a member of the retina services at the VA Providence HS and the Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Greenberg's academic interests include medical education, cataract surgery outcomes, and retinal vascular disease.
