Overview

Douglas M. Long, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist. He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada in Reno. He completed his residency and fellowship at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he currently serves as clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry and human behavior. He has authored publications on philosophy, mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and the development and training of evidence-based psychotherapies.
