Overview

Elizabeth Jacobs is the Program Director of the Pediatric Emergency Fellowship at Hasbro Childrens Hospital/Brown University. She is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine. Dr. Jacobs completed her pediatric residency at Hasbro Childrens Hospital/Brown University and her pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Chldren's National Medical Center. After 4 years at CNMC (where she served as fellowhsip director), she returned to Rhode Island, and was selected to serve as fellowship director in 2013. 

Her interests include asynchrounous learning both within and outside a busy pediatric emergency department as well as just in time learning. 

In 2022 she received an American Academy of Pediatrics CATCH Implementation grant develop HeartSAFE shools in Rhode Island. Utilizing toolkits developed by Project ADAM the goal is to help schools develop cardiac action plans in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest.
