Dr. Francis' research interests include childhood anxiety disorders and factors associated with school-based treatment of youth with psychiatric disorders.

Teaching/Supervision

Dr. Francis is the Coordinator for Training in Clinical Child Psychology for the clinical psychology internship program at Brown. She also serves as a supervisor for clinical psychology interns rotating through the Adolescent Psychopathology rotation at the Bradley School in East Providence and for the postdoctoral fellow in School-Funded Day Treatment and Violence/Substance Use Prevention. Her teaching interests are in the areas of childhood obsessive-compulsive disorder, school avoidance, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She runs a yearly seminar series on CBT for child psychiatry fellows.
