Overview

Heather Chapman, MD is a board-certified pediatrician and a pediatric attending at the Hasbro Children’s Partial Hospital Program (HCPCP).  HCPHP is an integrated, family-based day program for children with complex medical and psychological issues and serves as a regional and national referral center.  Heather graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a BA  in Psychology as well as the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine in 1993.  She completed her residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1996 and remained at the U of R as a pediatric chief resident  followed by 1 year as a pediatric academic fellow.  Prior to her current position, she worked in pediatric primary care at St. Joseph’s Health Center and in the newborn nursery as well as the Infant Behavior, Cry and Sleep Clinic at Women and Infants Hospital, both  in Providence.  In 2018, Heather became a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and currently is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
