Overview

As Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at the Brown University School of Medicine, Dr. Cronan serves as Radiologist-in-Chief at the Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital and is Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Cronan is a nationally recognized expert in the field of uroradiology and has served as President of the Society of Uroradiology.He is President of the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound. His primary interests are non-vascular interventional procedures, particularly image-guided percutaneous needle biopsies, ultrasound diagnosis of DVT and diagnosis of thyroid nodules.
