Overview

KayLoni Olson, PhD, is an Assistant Professor (Research) in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Alpert Brown Medical School and Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center of The Miriam Hospital. She received her PhD from Ohio State University in 2017. She is a clinical health psychologist and her research is focused on weight-related health with an emphasis on behavioral interventions to improve well-being among individuals of higher body weight. Specific areas of work include body image, weight-related stigma, and using translational models (ORBIT) to guide adaptation of evidence-based treatments.
