Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Lauren Reeves, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist who works primarily with post-9/11 Veterans and Veterans with trauma- and stressor-related disorders at the Providence VA Medical Center. Dr. Reeves received her PhD from Temple University in 2017. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Brown specializing in PTSD treatment, she accepted a position with the Post Deployment & Readjustment Program at the Providence VA, as a clinician and the clinic coordinator. She has a clinical appointment within the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior through Brown, and is the primary supervisor for the Trauma Recovery Services rotation in the adult track of the clinical psychology training program. Her clinical interests and expertise include the application of ACT for a variety of disorders, as well as providing PTSD treatments (i.e., Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy).
