Michel A. Arcand MD, Clinical Assisant Professor of Orthopaedics, is a fellowship-trained, board certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery as well as Sports Medicine.

Dr. Arcand treats a wide range of Shoulder and Elbow conditions. He treats degenerative shoulder and elbow conditions as well as sports related injuries, with both operative and non-operative methods, specializing in the upper extremities. Typical injuries include rotator cuff tears and impingement, shoulder dislocations, arthritis, fractures as well as ligament tears. Dr. Arcand takes great care in providing each patient with an individual treatment plan with the goal of restoring function and the return to an active and healthy life style.
