Overview

Dr. Mannix is a pediatric psychologist who works primarily with children and families who have both medical issues and psychological concerns. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology (with a specialization in Health Psychology) from Yeshiva University in 2009. She completed an internship in Child Clinical Psychology at the Franciscan Hospital for Children, and a fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Brown Medical School in 2010. Currently, she is the Director of Behavioral Health in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the Assistant Clinical Director of Child/Adolescent Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, both at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Dr. Mannix participates in the training of interns, residents, and fellows in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics. Her primary research interest is in quality of life in chronic illness, especially pediatric cancer.
