Overview

Dr. Kriz is a graduate of Boston College and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Kriz completed a pediatric and chief residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston in 2010.

Dr. Kriz is Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics.  Dr. Kriz's research interests include injury prevention in youth sports and sport-related concussion. He currently is a team physician at Brown University and several area high schools, and provides concussion management for the Providence Bruins Professional Hockey Team. Special interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, throwing injuries, spondylolysis, and sports concussion management. He is a member of the Pediatric Research in Sports Medicine (PRISM) society, and has lectured at numerous national meetings on the topic of youth sports injuries.
