Overview

Seth A. Clark, MD, MPH, FASAM, Assistant Professor of Medicine and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior is the Medical Attending of the inpatient Addiction Medicine Consult service at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Clark also works as an outpatient provider at the Lifespan Recovery Center and Rhode Island’s Adult Correctional Institutions. He completed the David C. Lewis Fellowship in Addiction Medicine through Brown University in 2019 and is board certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr. Clark is also board certified in Internal Medicine after completing Brown Internal Medicine’s General Internal Medicine residency and serving as a chief resident in 2018. He received his combined MD/MPH from University of Texas Medical Branch in 2014. His interests include inpatient Addiction Medicine consultations, low barrier access to medications for addiction treatment, acute opioid withdrawal management, and harm reduction interventions/education.
