Alexander Mohler is the co-director of the Neuro-oncology Clinic at Lifespan Cancer Institute and is a board certified neurologist with subspecialty training in neuro-oncology. He is an assistant professor of Neurology and of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and staff neurologist at Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital. After completion of his undergraduate training at the University of South Florida, he attended graduate school at Georgetown University, receiving a Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biophysics. This was followed by medical school at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He completed both his residency in neurology and fellowship in neuro-oncology at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. In addition to his clinical appointments he also is a member of the board of trustees for the Rhode Island Brain and Spine Tumor Foundation and is an active member of both the American Academy of Neurology and the Society for Neuro-Oncology.
Academic interests: Primary and metastatic brain malignancies, central nervous system lymphoma, paraneoplastic syndromes, neurological complications of cancers.
