Dr. Honeyman is a board certified General Surgeon and Pediatric Surgeon. He completed residency at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. During his training, he also spent three years at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and The Rockefeller University where he worked with Michael La Quaglia, MD and Sanford Simon, PhD studying the genomics of fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma.
His clinical interests include surgical oncology, trauma, and applications of minimally invasive surgery.
His research interests include the genomics of pediatric solid tumors, applications of 3D printing in pediatric surgery, and the analysis of outcomes in pediatric surgical and trauma care.
