Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Julie Angiola Morris, Ph.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  She is a Staff Psychologist, providing patient care at Behavioral Medicine Clinical Services, the RIH Comprehensive Spine Center, and the Lifespan Cancer Institute.  She provides training and education as a primary supervisor in the Brown Alpert Medical School Clinical Psychology Training Consortium.  Julie received Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Wyoming. She completed a Predoctoral Internship in Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Primary Care-Mental Health Integration and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy at the Maine VA in Augusta, ME.  Julie has clinical and research interests in integrated care, mindfulness- and acceptance-based behavioral therapies, psycho-oncology and issues related to gender and sexuality.
