Dr. Kriz is a graduate of Boston College and Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Kriz completed a pediatric and chief residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children's Hospital. He completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston in 2010. Dr. Kriz's research interests include injury prevention in youth sports and sport-related concussion. He currently is an assistant team physician at Brown University and several area high schools, and provides concussion management for the Providence Bruins Professional Hockey Team. Special interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, throwing injuries, dance medicine, and sports concussion management. He is a fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, AAP's Council on Sports Medicine and Fitness, and has lectured at numerous national meetings on the topic of youth sports injuries.
