Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Overview

Dr. Davis is an assistant professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She earned her medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Utah School of Medicine followed by fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Vermont Medical Center.  Her translational research centers around apoptosis and pro and anti-inflammatory mechanisms as they relate to labor and adverse pregnancy outcomes. Her clinical research focuses on fetal ultrasound and complications of pregnancy. She is the seventh scholar in the Brown University/Women & Infants Hospital Women's Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) Career Development Program. She currently serves as the Principal Investigator/institutional representative for the Fetal Treatment Program of New England to the North American Fetal Therapy Network (NAFTNet).
