Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Savannah McSheffrey, PhD, is a staff psychologist at the Rhode Island Hospital Partial Hospital Program and a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She received her doctorate from the University of Rhode Island. Her predoctoral and postdoctoral training were both completed at Boston VA Healthcare System with an emphasis in treating PTSD and women’s stress disorders. Her clinical interests include working with underserved populations, veterans and first responders, PTSD, trauma, emotion dysregulation, and borderline personality disorder.
