Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery


Dr. Sengupta's research program focuses on development of targeted immunotherapies against glioblastoma, and studying neoantigens of primary CNS tumors.

Dr. Sadhak Sengupta received his PhD in Immunology from the University of Calcutta, India, and completed post doctoral training in T cell biology from the Institute for Cellular Therapeutics, University of Louisville, Louisville, KY; and in brain tumor biology and tumor immunology from the University of Chicago Brain Tumor Laboratory, Chicago, IL. 

Dr. Sengupta is the Director of Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Research Program at Rhode Island Hospital, and PI of the Brain Tumor Laboratory at Roger Williams Medical Center. He joined the Department of Neurosurgery in 2016.
