Amy Goldberg, MD, is an attending physician at The Lawrence A. Aubin Sr. Child Protection Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She is a Professor of Pediatrics, at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is board certified in both general pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics. She is involved in direct patient care and research; additionally, Dr. Goldberg provides education to medical students, residents, fellows and community providers. She completes medical evaluations for all forms of child maltreatment, including physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect. She engages in research and publishes on studies involving child abuse, such as domestic minor sex trafficking, sexual abuse and physical abuse.
Dr. Goldberg received her medical degree from Boston University in Massachusetts and completed her Pediatrics Residency at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center and her Child Abuse Pediatric Fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital/Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
