Dr. Little received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology, Health and Society from Cornell University. She then completed a Masters in Public Health at Boston University, with a focus in maternal-child health. She attended medical school at the University of Massachusetts, and completed both her pediatric residency and neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship at Brown. She has interests in medical education and neonatal neurology.
