Adriana Schulz’s research focuses on developing computational tools and systems that transform manufacturing-oriented design. She earned her BS and MS from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and IMPA in Brazil, and her PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She then served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington before joining Brown University.
Schulz’s work has been recognized with a Sloan Research Fellowship, an NSF CAREER Award, MIT Technology Review’s Innovators Under 35 award, the Anita Borg Early Career Award, and the ACM SIGGRAPH Significant New Researcher Award.
