Dr. Woo is a plastic surgeon specializing in the field of craniofacial surgery. He serves as Director of the Craniofacial Program and Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery. His practice includes both adults and children.
He is most notable for his development of a new cleft palate repair procedure, which has demonstrated significantly improved results compared to previous surgeries. He has also published extensively on his experience with craniosynostosis reconstruction, particularly regarding his experience with endoscopic craniosynostosis repair.
Dr. Woo is also a noted authority on medical 3D printing and heads a 3D printing laboratory at Rhode Island Hospital. He joined the faculty at Brown University in 2016 following a previous faculty position at Washington University in St. Louis.
