Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine

Overview

Dr. Sheng is currently the Residency Program Director for Emergency Medicine. 

Dr. Sheng attended medical school at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed his residency at the Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He has completed a Masters of Health Professions Education at Boston University.

He previously served as the Associate Residency Program Director at Boston Medical Center for eight years. He has received multiple teaching and mentorship awards throughout his career and has built a strong record for education scholarship and innovation.

Dr. Sheng is a member of multiple national committees at SAEM and CORD and is serving as the CORD Best Practices Track Chair for the next two years.
