Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Clinician Educator

Overview

Bradley DeNardo, MD is an associate professor of pediatrics within the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Dr. DeNardo is an expert in both childhood solid tumors as well as adolescent and young adult sarcomas. Dr. DeNardo attended medical school at Brown University and subsequently pursued pediatric residency training and pediatric hematology-oncology fellowship at Brown. During fellowship, he pursued basic science and translational research focusing on neuroblastoma tumorigenesis and chemotherapy-induced neurotoxicity.

In his current role, Dr. DeNardo directs the pediatric solid tumor program at Hasbro Children's Hospital and the sarcoma program at Lifespan Cancer Institute. His research interests are in developmental therapeutics: early phase clinical trials of novel therapies for pediatric and young adult cancer patients. Dr. DeNardo is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, and the Children's Oncology Group.
