Brian D. Mikolasko, MD HMDC FASAM is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Alpert School of Medicine of Brown University and palliative medicine physician at Rhode Island Hospital. He completed his fellowships at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai in New York City and is board certified in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, palliative medicine, and addiction medicine. His interests include complex symptom management and improving primary palliative care through educational initiatives. He serves on the faculty of the Harvard Macy Institute and was formerly a member of the faculty at Harvard Medical School. He is currently completing an executive MBA and MS in Healthcare Leadership at Cornell University SC Johnson Graduate School of Management and Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences.
His personal interests include spending time with his children, general aviation, diving, snowboarding, and following baseball.
