Overview

Dr. Holman graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in psychology in 2010. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Fordham University in 2019, following her clinical internship at Brown. She completed her postdoctoral training through the Brown Clinical Psychology Training Consortium in 2020 at the Providence VA, where she currently serves as a staff clinical psychologist in Trauma Recovery Services. Dr. Holman specializes in the assessment and treatment of high-risk veteran populations with trauma-related disorders and complex psychopathology. Since 2020, Dr. Holman has remained actively engaged in the DPHB Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee and the Providence VA Mental Health Service DEI Workgroup. She serves on the DPHB Anti-Racism Steering Committee as the faculty liaison for Kaleidoscope, an affinity group for DPHB trainees of color. Since her appointment with the DPHB, Dr. Holman is also supervising psychology trainees rotating through TRS and providing didactics on assessing racial trauma to both psychology and psychiatry residents.
