Overview

Dr. Caroline J Kistin MD, MSc is a pediatrician and an Associate Professor of Health Services, Policy, and Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health. She is a core faculty member of the Hassenfeld Child Health Innovation Institute at Brown University, where she leads initiatives on technology and digital media and child mental health. Her work to date has been funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the United States Department of Agriculture. She has expertise in the development, testing, and implementation of family-focused interventions to decrease stress, facilitate adaptive functioning, and improve parent and child outcomes. Dr. Kistin is the Associate Program Director for a T32-funded fellowship program funded by NHLBI, where she mentors MD and PhD post-doctoral trainees in pediatric health research.
