Dr. Matkovic is board certified in adult psychiatry, child psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and addiction medicine. He has been the director of both the Psychiatric Emergency Service at Rhode Island Hospital and the Correctional Psychiatric Service at the Adult Correctional Insitiution in Rhode Island for over a decade, evaluating and providing care for underserved and severely mentally ill individuals.
