Overview

Dr. Nunes is a pediatric psychologist who specializes in treating children and families who have  medical issues and psychological concerns. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College in 2016. She completed an internship in Child Clinical Psychology at Community Healthlink – Youth & Family Services, and a fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at the Institute of Living, Connecticut Children's. Currently, she works in the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic working with children and adolescents with diabetes, as well as with young within the Pediatric Rehabilitation Service. Dr. Nunes also works in the Fostering Health program, providing psychological evalation and intervention during primary care visits. She also completes Bariatric Surgery Evaluations for the Adolescent Bariatric Surgery program. Dr. Nunes participates in the training of interns, residents, and fellows in psychology and psychiatry.
