Overview

Daeho Kim, PhD, is a health economist whose research focuses on the effects of payment models on insurer and provider behavior and resulting patient outcomes. His recent studies examine how capitated payments in Medicare Advantage affects access and care quality for high-need high-cost patients.

Dr. Kim earned his PhD in Economics from Brown University. Before joining the Brown School of Public Health, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at The Ohio State University.
