Overview

Dara Kass, MD, is Professor of the Practice in Health Services, Policy and Practice at the Brown University School of Public Health and Co-Director of the Advancing Impact on Maternal and Reproductive Health (AIM) Lab, which turns reproductive health policy research into tools for legislators, advocates, and physicians. A board-certified emergency physician, she practices at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and has held faculty appointments at SUNY Downstate, NYU, and Columbia. From 2021 to 2024, she served as HHS Regional Director for Region II. She founded FemInEM, a platform advancing gender equity in emergency medicine.
