Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior

Overview

Dr. Lichtenstein is a staff psychologist at Bradley Hospital's Verrecchia Clinic for Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities; a school consultant on the Project AWARE program out of the Bradley Learning Exchange; and Editor of the Brown University Child & Adolescent Behavior Letter. In his work at the Verrecchia Clinic, Dr. Lichtenstein serves as Principal Investigator on a project examining the effectiveness of outpatient treatment for youth with developmental disabilities.  Dr. Lichtenstein works with children, families, and schools to help kids lead safe, healthy, and meaningful lives. He is interested in parenting- and social-skill interventions for families of children with Autism and other developmental disabilities; he is also interested in consultation on making the evidence base useful to teachers, school administrators, and caregivers of children and families.
