Dr. Stachurski is on the faculty of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, and Chairman of the Pathology Department and the Clinical Laboratory at Newport Hospital. He is a Staff Pathologist and Hematopathologist for Lifespan Academic Medical Center, chairman of Pathology and Clinical Laboratories at Newport Hospital and Laboratory Medical Director at Eleanor Slater Hospital. Dr. Stachurski obtained his BA in Zoology and Premedicine at George Washington University, and his MD at Poznan University of Medical Sciences. He completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Massachusetts, a Fellowship in Hematopathology at University of Massachusetts, and the Don Singer Fellowship in Perinatal and Pediatric Pathology at Brown University. He has particular interests in leukemias and hematopathology, and laboratory leadership.
