Dr. Treaba is on the faculty of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, and is the Director of Hematopathology and the Director of the Hematology Laboratories for Lifespan Academic Medical Center.  Dr. Treaba is also the Director of the Pathology Residency Program of Brown University.  She obtained her MD from Targu-Mures University of Medicine and Pharmacy, completed pathology residencies at Targu-Mures and Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's in Chicago, and completed fellowships in hematopathology (Northwestern University) and immunohistochemistry (PhenoPath Labs, Seattle).  Dr. Treaba has particular interests in the classification and pathobiology of leukemias and lymphomas.
