Overview

Ghada Bourjeily, MD, is professor of medicine at Brown University and director of women's research at Lifespan, the women's medicine collaborative.
Dr. Bourjeily's clinical expertise is in pulmonary disease and pregnancy, and her research focuses on understanding sleep disordered breathing in pregnant women and the impact of the condition on cardiovascular and metabolic outcomes of pregnancy, and its fetal and neonatal implications.

Dr Bourjeily's research has advanced the field of pulmonary disease and sleep in pregnancy.  She has served in leadership roles at numerous national and international societies, has received many national research and leadership awards, and has been invited speaker at national and international venues.
