Assistant Professor of Earth, Environmental, and Planetary Sciences

Overview

I joined the Department of Earth, Environmental and Planetary Sciences (DEEPS) at Brown University in 2022 as part of the Geochemistry/Mineralogy/Petrology group. As a cosmo- and geochemist, my research focuses on obtaining a better understanding of the origin and early evolution of the Solar System as well as the inner workings of the Earth through chemical and isotopic analyses of meteorites and planetary samples. I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geosciences from the University of Hannover and the University of Münster (Germany), respectively. I became part of the Cosmochemistry and Isotope Geochemistry group (T. Kleine) at the University of Münster in 2013, where I completed my Ph.D. degree and two years of postdoctoral research. In 2019, I joined the Isotoparium (F. Tissot) at the California Institute of Technology as postdoctoral scholar until I became Assistant Professor at Brown.
