George Kroumpouzos Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology

Dr. Kroumpouzos is a Professor of Dermatology, Collaborator, at Jundiaí Medical School, São Paulo, Brazil, and has served on the Faculty at Harvard Medical School. He graduated from Athens University School of Medicine, where he also completed a doctoral thesis on lupus erythematosus. He then pursued research fellowships in Dermatology and Molecular Biology at the Department of Dermatology, The Free University of Berlin and National Cancer Institute, NIH prior to starting a Dermatology residency at the combined Boston/Tufts Universities program. His clinical and research interests include skin disease in pregnancy and gynecologic dermatology, procedural dermatology, skin cancer, disorders of pigmentation, drug safety, and journalism.
