Dr. Bhatt joined the Brown Endocrine Faculty in 2011. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at USC/Dorn VA Medical Center. He practices general endocrinology with a special interest in Diabetes Care along with a specific interest in Type 2 Diabetes Drug discovery and emerging Diabetes Technologies. He is the Chief of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Providence VA Medical Center. Prior to this he was Director of the Diabetes Program at the Hallett Center. Dr. Bhatt has won numerous teaching awards and has published in the field of Type 2 Diabetes.
