Hussain Khawaja, MD is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
He completed medical school at Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan in 2005 and then came to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia to do his Intenral Medicine residency training.
He currently practices general internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital, where he teaches internal medicine residents and medical students in the inpatient and outpatient settings. He leads the inpatient section of the Division of General Internal Medicine, is an Associate Program Director for the Brown Internal Medicine residencies, and is the site director for the Internal Medicine Sub-Internship for Rhode Island Hospital. He also serves as the leader of the Physician Ambassador program for the Division of General Internal Medicine.
