Adjunct Assistant Professor of Biostatistics

Overview

Dr. Dave arrived at Brown after completing his doctorate in Biostatistics from University of Georgia in Athens, GA as well as MSPH in Biostatistics and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Emory University. He is now a faculty member in the Biostatistics Department of the School of Public Health and an analyst at the CDC. 

Dr. Dave's research interests include modeling physiological systems, he hopes to accurately identify sources of variability in these systems and understand mechanics underlying these systems' functioning. In addition, his current work at CDC involves analyzing antimicrobial stewardship nationwide and the factors associated with it. His interests stemmed from his research assistantships at the University of Georgia in the Hallow Lab and internships throughout his academic career.

Currently, Dr. Dave is teaching the introductory Probability and Statistics courses, which is newly offered in the Executive MPH Program in the School of Public Health.
