Jason Andreas graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine in 2017. He then pursued his residency in psychiatry at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, graduating in 2021. There, he became interested in the intersection between mental health and the law. He then joined Brown University's Forensic Psychiatry fellowship program, graduating in in 2022. Since then, he works as an attending psychiatrist at the Rhode Island State Psychiatric Hospital wihle also providing additional support for the Forensic Service. He has a particularly interest in malingering, treatment of the severely mentally ill, competency restoration research, and insanity pleas in court.
