Adjunct Professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences

Overview

Jordan Braciszewski is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral & Social Sciences at Brown University. He received a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, completed a predoctoral internship at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Brown University Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies. Jordan's research interests broadly focus on underserved populations, program evaluation, and social policy change. He is particularly interested in the prevention of substance use and chronic homelessness, using both community-based efforts and clinically-informed interventions. He studies factors at several ecological levels of analysis that contribute to positive individual mental health, substance use, and psychological well-being outcomes. Jordan is primarily based at Decision Sciences Institute, a division of the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation.
