Dr. Barbeau completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and the Université de Franche-Comté, Besançon, France. He earned his J.D. at Northwestern University School of Law and his M.D. at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barbeau completed Clinical Pathology Residency at Yale University School of Medicine; Anatomic Pathology Residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, GA; a Fellowship in Medical Microbiology at Emory; and a Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine Fellowship at Louisiana State University, New Orleans (Charity Hospital).
