John K. Czerwein Jr., MD, serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics. He attended college at Providence College before completing his medical degree at The Chicago Medical School in Northern Chicago, IL. Dr. Czerwein finished his orthopaedic internship and residency at Albert Einstein University-Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY. He did his subspecialty training in Spine Surgery with the Brown Spine Surgery Fellowship.
He specializes in the treatment of orthopaedic spinal disorders in adult and adolescent patients, treating all disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Dr. Czerwein is one of the only spine surgeons specializing in minimally invasive surgical procedures in the region.
